El Puertito is a large natural pool on the small Lobos Island, in the north of Fuerteventura. It is protected from the swell and (probably) has the clearest waters on all the archipelago. El Puertito is a modest fishing village far different from the rest of Tenerife. Although nestled between tourist-heavy resorts, this oasis remains untouched and unaffected. No towering hotels and apartment complexes or sunshade and lounger-covered waterfront. No strip of bars and booming sound, no waves of tourists flocking its shores, nothing.

To get to the islet of Lobos, in the north of Fuerteventura, you simply need to take a 20-minute boat ride across from Corralejo. From the jetty, a 10-minute walk will take you to the Puertito de Lobos, a small collection of white fishing shacks with blue doors, and the only populated part of this virgin island.
